John is leader of the St Ives Art Group and has
been painting seriously for 25 years,
specialising in local scenes and the Suffolk
coastline where he grew up. He is often
commissioned to paint portraits of children for
friends and relatives.
He was a full-time teacher until 1992 and still
teaches part-time. His other leisure activities
are bird-watching and photography.

One of the best-known faces in St Ives, Trevor
has been keeping the town’s streets clean
since 1973. For relaxation he enjoys his beer
and follows football, supporting ‘Posh’,
Manchester Utd and Liverpool.
