IMPACT
Across the region, the feedback on the Connected Skills programme, from the bootcamps and the other training sessions to the
placements on productions, has been extremely positive both in terms of the quality of the training on ofer and its efectiveness.
Participants coming through the Connected Skills programme
have secured work within the industry independently. For example,
three members of North East Screen9s Crew Academy have begun
work in pre-dress props, as a petty cash buyer and in graphics in
the art department.
Participants in the Connected Skills programme from across
the region have renected on the many ways the combination of
training and placements has had a positive impact:
Reducing barriers to entry and improving opportunities for
diverse entrants from across the region.
