Screen Manchester held a skills and
learning production bootcamp in
collaboration with the BBC, Wall to Wall,
Rope Ladder Fiction and HOME, featuring
participation from freelance heads of
departments and crew members.
North East Screen ran a screen industry
etiquette bootcamp for 43 attendees and
Liverpool Film Oïce held a series of Skills
Bootcamps, including Introduction to
Production training course.
Participants of the bootcamps and other
training opportunities hosted by Screen
Alliance North partners have gone on to
achieve work placements. The Centre
of Screen Excellence: Yorkshire (CoSE:Y)
placed 37 graduates in work placements
and a joint networking event brought midand senior-level cohorts together with
more than 50 entry-level cohorts, helping
build connections.

delivery of the Connected Skills bootcamp.

opportunities for 10-week placements.
Liverpool Film Oïce established a
positive relationship with local training
provider Liverpool Locations and

organisations and industry bodies,
including Sunbelt Rentals, Women in Film
& TV, the Guild of Location Managers,
the Production Guild of Great Britain and
BAFTA.
