'ŚNIEŻKA 2022' – BACK ON THE
MOUNTAIN PEAK TO JOIN FORCES
IN FUNDRAISING!
During the summer 2022, 60 of our colleagues from our
offices in Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany,
Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine, climbed the
Śnieżka Mountain (1,603m) which borders the Czech
Republic and Poland.
Their goal this year was to raise funds to support Ukraine
which they donated to local charities which was matched
by The RWS Foundation. The charities chosen were the
Polish Humanitarian Action, a non-profit professional
organisation, officially registered in Poland that help the
victims of humanitarian crises caused by armed conflicts
and natural disasters and Člověk v tísni/People in need
– a professional humanitarian organisation striving to
provide aid in troubled regions and support adherence to
human rights around the world.
Having survived tropical heat in 2019, and heavy clouds in
2021, very strong winds were this year’s challenge and the
team had to stick close together to avoid getting blown over.
The team had a great time getting to know each other in
person and are already gearing up for the 2023 mountain
challenge!
