Through RWS Campus we deliver the latest translation cloud technology ensuring every student
has access whether in the classroom or at home. We provide detailed guides and training in
addition to suggested core content for a balanced curriculum supporting the use of translation
technology. Academic institutions teaching Trados get exclusive access to a community offering
support for both teachers and students. We currently support more than 25,000 students with
Trados technology through RWS Campus. Our Top Student Award programme, launched in
2016, resulted in nine top performing students being nominated by partner institutions
to receive a free Trados licence this year, for them to use in their future career.

AMBER ZHANG
Supply Chain Regional Manager based in RWS in Taiwan
Through RWS Campus initiatives, Amber was invited to write the foreword for a book
related to the localisation industry, which was published in 2021.
I met the author during her visit to the RWS Taiwan office with her students three years ago.
She is a university professor, the owner of a localisation company in Taiwan, and one of the
trusted vendors in RWS. I believe her knowledge, background, and experience make her one of the
most suitable experts to write this book and to show the overview of the localisation industry.
This book introduces everything related to localisation, including translation project management, translation
memory and terminology management, MTPE introduction, CAT tool introduction, and more. The target readers
are students majoring in translation degrees, people working in the localisation industry, professors teaching in
translation related curriculums. I am already receiving praise from freelancers, students, and people in the market
about this book!
This initiative is aligned with the mission of RWS Campus. As a global leader, we can offer insight into new
technological developments that are shaping the future of localisation, and we want to help connect the next
generation of professionals to that future.
I am honoured to be able to contribute to this book and represent RWS to deliver such positive and long-term
influence on the localisation market in Taiwan.
