THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE
This accessory, installed in the hot water outlet of the heater, allows the hot water to be mixed with the cold water
coming from the main supply. The resulting mixed water is transported at a lower temperature, achieving energy
savings and minimising heat loss through the pipes until it reaches the point of use.

EQUIVALENT OUTPUT VOLUME
Another advantage of this valve is the increase in
the volume of hot water available, with respect to
the capacity of the installed heater, defined as the
equivalent volume.
This equivalent volume represents the litres of
water available at 39 ºC, assuming that the water
inlet temperature to the boiler is 15 ºC and the set
temperature is 73 ºC.
