3. TRAINING AND
SKILLS
Ensuring that the correct people in place for a task is vitally
important. The company will ensure that all team members
are adequately trained for their role and responsibilities and
that their skills and competencies are recorded and
regularly assessed
3.1 All members of a project team will have the appropriate
skills and competencies to allow them to complete their tasks
safely to ensure that they do not harm themselves or others.
3.2 Team members will not operate or maintain equipment
for which they do not hold the appropriate training or
certification for.
3.3 Training requirements will be reviewed and analysed
regularly with requests made to fill gaps when identified.
Resources and/or time will be allowed to complete
recommended or essential training when required.
3.4 Recruitment, selection and placement processes ensure
that personnel are qualified, competent, and physically and
mentally fit for their assigned tasks, roles and responsibilities.
