6. WORK EQUIPMENT AND
THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT
New and existing facilities and equipment will be designed,
constructed, commissioned and maintained to allow for
safe and trustworthy performance. Equipment will be
monitored to ensure that all appropriate and documented
examinations and inspections in are complete.
6.1 Equipment will be subjected to the appropriate
inspection and testing prior to use by competently
trained individuals.
6.2 Appropriate expertise will integrated as early as
possible into project designs so that risks are
reduced and managed as far as reasonably
practical prior to construction commencing.
6.3 Quality and compliance inspection processes
will be in place to ensure projects and services
meet design and specifications and that
construction is in accordance with all relevant
standards and regulations.
6.4 Deviations from designs and standards will be
identified and managed to meet client
expectations with all changes documented and
filed accordingly.
