How to be a super learner
To be a super learner you need to know what style of learner you are.
Spreadsheet
A spreadsheet package is a computer package that is designed to perform calculations. It can
also be used to produce graphs and charts, record data and search for particular items of data.
Are you a Visual learner (see-er), an Auditory learner (listener) or a Kinaesthetic learner (do-er)?

A database is used to store data in a way that makes it easy to sort and search. Data is stored
in tables; these have rows (records) and columns (fields). In most tables there is a unique field
called a key field.

A graphics package is used to create and manipulate images on a computer. The images
produced can be used as a source of original artwork when using word processing, desktop
publishing or presentation software.

Desktop publishing, or DTP for short, is used to produce publications such as newsletters,
magazines, leaflets and posters. DTP is concerned with organising the layout and appearance
of text and graphics in a publication.

Individuals and organisations create pages of information for websites using web authoring
packages. Web pages are created using hypertext mark-up language (HTML). This is a
programming language which tells web browsers how to display information.

Presentation
A presentation package is used to create slide shows and presentations, which can be viewed
on-screen or with a projector. Slides can include text, images, movies and sound.
