WOMEN ENGINEERS
IN AUTOMATION.
Tayo Ajasa
Senior Engineering Consultant
Rockwell Automation
I was inspired to become an
engineer because I really liked
science in school especially
Chemistry. I initially wanted to be a
Pediatrician but then discovered whilst
I was doing my A-levels that I don’t like
the sight of blood. I looked at other options
and engineering seemed like a great choice,
as the branch of engineering that I chose
contained Chemistry and Mathematics,
2 of my favourite subjects at school. I think
engineering is so versatile and there are so
many different types of engineering that
anyone with an interest in providing answers
for global challenges will always find
something to do.
