Isobel Pollock-Hulf OBE
Chair of the IMechE D&I Committee and
IMechE Past President
I had a fulfilling engineering career
that spans across diverse manufacturing
and academic roles. One of the highlights
of my achievements in the engineering field
was receiving an OBE in 2014. In 2021, I led the
development and publication of the first Diversity
and Inclusion (D&I) strategy for the IMechE,
working closely with our dedicated members and
employees of the D&I Committee. I attribute much
of my success to a robust educational background
and the unwavering support of employers who
provided invaluable Continuous Professional
Development (CPD) and mentorship opportunities,
propelling me forward in my career.
