protection for any monies paid to us.
We have therefore partnered with Trust My Travel Ltd., which provides financial protection services
to over 2000 partners around the world, and use their ‘Protected Processing’ and ‘Protection Only’
schemes to provide this. Funds paid by consumers are protected via an Insurance policy held by
Trust My Travel. Each traveller and the description of services sold is declared against Trust My
Travel’s insurance policy directly against our financial failure. In the event of our insolvency, you will
be refunded for any unfulfilled products and/or repatriation to the UK (where applicable). Your email
receipt is confirmation to you that your transaction has been declared against Trust My Travel’s

Travel Insurance requirements
When selecting your policy, you must ensure that it is
designed for adventure & overland travel. Your travel
insurance must cover you for all the adventure activities
you may plan to do on your trip, such as white water rafting
(up to grade 5), bungy jumping, mountain biking, quad
biking, trekking & horse riding etc. and at the very least are
insured for all necessary medical & repatriation costs.
If you already have an annual travel or a credit card travel
insurance policy, please check carefully with your insurers
that they provide the cover you require, as many limit
cover for trekking above a certain altitude, mountain biking,
white water rafting above grade 3, quad biking etc. Whilst
you may find cheaper insurance you need to be aware of
EXACTLY what activities your policy covers you for and
more importantly what they DO NOT.

very important. It is a mistake to think an accident or injury
“will never happen to me”. It is a compulsory requirement
on ALL Oasis Overland trips that anyone joining one has
adequate travel insurance.
