RWANDA - Stay at Musanze, a
town on the edge of the Virunga
Mountains. Opportunity to go to the
grave of Dian Fossey. Visit the moving
Genocide Memorial in Kigali.

Days 1 to 4
KENYA - Nairobi, drive down into The Great
Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha and Elsamere
- the home of Joy Adamson and Elsa the
Lion of Born Free fame. Crater Lake Game
Sanctuary or Hells Gate National Park
(walk through or hire bikes - the only
parks in Kenya where this is allowed).
Lake Nakuru National Park - game drive
to spot lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, zebra
and flamingo. Cross the Equator.
Days 5 to 10
UGANDA - Jinja, the source of the Nile,
whitewater rafting, quad biking or visit a
local school and orphanage. Kampala,
Uganda’s capital, take a city tour. Explore
Uganda’s Lake Bunyonyi by canoe.
Mountain Gorillas - optional trek to see
these majestic creatures in Bwindi
Days 14 to 20
UGANDA & KENYA – See the Sipi Falls in
Uganda and the Kakamega tropical rainforest in
Kenya en-route to the Maasai Mara. Two fully
guided game drives in search of the Big 5 and
other wildlife before continuing back to Nairobi.
Visit the Langata Giraffe Centre and maybe even
get a kiss from Africa’s tallest mammal!
Days 21 to 26
TANZANIA - option to go into the
world famous Ngorongoro Crater and
Serengeti National Park. Head to
Marangu at the base of Kilimanjaro.
Opportunity to climb to Kilimanjaro
base camp, or go on a village walk
and take in the coffee plantations.
Days 27 to 33
From Dar es Salaam we spend 4
nights on Zanzibar Island. Relax
on the shores of the Indian Ocean
or go snorkelling, scuba diving or
on a boat trip. In Stone Town you
can explore the local markets and
historical forts, before returning to
Dar es Salaam where you will finish
your trip.
