WELCOME TO OASIS OVERLAND
ADVENTURE TRAVEL
If you are looking at doing something different to the average holiday then you have come to the right place!
Our exciting overland tours and expeditions offer a unique way to travel and will get you to places far from
the tourist crowds as well as to the famous sites on your bucket list.
WHAT IS AN OVERLAND TOUR?
Overlanding is as much about the travel experience as the places you visit. Joining one of these trips means you will
be travelling in a group of other adventurous travellers, on one of our custom built expedition trucks and led by our
experienced crew. Our multi-country itineraries range from 13 days to 42 weeks and are designed to visit the best
places both well known and off the tourist map. We stop at sites for you to explore or where activities are on offer
and take in travel icons such as Machu Picchu, unmissable sites like China’s Terracotta Warriors and incredible
experiences - safari in the Maasai Mara, anyone? Everyone pitches in together to help with the running of the trip, for
example shopping for food in local markets and cooking meals over the campfire. In the evening we set up camp or we
may overnight in a local hostel or hotel. If camping is not your thing, you can join one of our Small Group Adventure
tours where our local tour leader will accompany you, using local transport or private minibuses, small locally owned
hotels and no cooking required!

OASIS TRIP?
The areas of Africa, South America, Central Asia
and South East Asia that we visit are an adventure
in themselves. Many countries will not have the
infrastructure, services or standards that you
may be used to so come prepared for anything!
Things do not always go to plan and we may not
be able to stick precisely to our itinerary but our
extensive experience means we are prepared for
the many and varied eventualities that we may
come across - closed borders, impassable roads,
officialdom and inclement weather to name a few!
This is all part of the adventure and the challenge
of travelling overland. Here at Oasis Overland we
believe overlanding is an incredibly rewarding way
to travel where you can get involved in your trip,
make life-long friends and experience some of
the most fascinating places on Earth. Escape the
daily routine and come join us on an adventure of
a lifetime!
Our groups are made up of adventurous people
aged from their 20s right up to their 60s and 70s
from all walks of life and nationalities who are
seeking to experience different cultures with like
minded travellers. While some travellers come
on our trips with a friend or a partner, about half
travel on their own. If you are travelling solo, we
will pair you up with a traveller of the same sex
to share accommodation with so we won’t charge
you a single supplement fee unless you want your
own room (may not apply to all small-group trips).

Small Group Adventure trips.

Our itineraries are longer than many of our
competitors so your trip is not rushed and does
not consist of constant long drive days.
ABOUT OASIS
OVERLAND
Oasis Overland began life 25 years ago when fellow
overlanders Steve and Chris realised that with a
combined 18 years of overlanding experience the time
was right to begin their own venture. They had gained
extensive knowledge of the areas Oasis Overland
travels through by leading trips for other companies,
as well as their own independent adventures.
Following the huge challenges of the Covid pandemic,
Oasis Overland is back on the road, and Chris
continues to manage the Overland operations,
vehicles, drivers and logistics, which has always been
his passion.
Our crew are trained on our vehicles, and most have
been driving and leading for Oasis Overland for many
years. On our Small Group Adventure trips we use
experienced local operators and guides whom we
have worked closely with for many years. Depending
on the destination and itinerary, some are led by expert
local guides, while on the longer multi-country routes
we send our own tour leaders to escort the whole trip.
All our crew and leaders are committed to
providing you with a high level of service. They have
considerable knowledge and experience of travelling
and managing trips, and have a passion and an
enthusiasm for their work and for the countries and
places we visit which they love to share with our
travellers.
