Mini Adventures are short in duration but big on experience! Maasai Mara safaris and Kilimanjaro
treks can be done before or after your overland adventure or booked as an adventure on their own.
The Mountain Gorilla Trek is done during your overland trip.

MOUNTAIN
GORILLA TREK
On our trips to Uganda, trekking to a family of
highland Mountain Gorillas has to be one of the
top wildlife encounters in Africa.
The trek to locate the Gorillas can take several
hours and you will be in high grass or thick
vegetation of the forested mountain slopes of
Bwindi Forest National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla
National Park.
Accompanied by park rangers, you will track these
rare, gentle giants and once you have located
the gorilla family you will have an hour to
enjoy this truly amazing experience.
AFRICA MINI ADVE
What’s included:
Transport from/to Nairobi, 2 game drives,
driver/guide & cook, camping fees, camping
equipment and 3 meals per day.
Rising from the game-filled plains, at 5895
metres, Mt Kilimanjaro is the world’s tallest
free-standing mountain. There are many routes
available, ranging from 6, 7 or 8 days which take
you from the forested lower slopes, through open
moorland to Uhuru peak. No mountain climbing
skills are needed for this challenging trek, but
due to the high altitude a good level of fitness
and a strong will are a must! We offer several smallgroup departure dates which allow you to do the
climb immediately before joining one of our Overland
expeditions in Nairobi.

The perfect Add-on to our Savanna Dawn
or Coast to Coast overland tours, this
3-day extension to the Maasai Mara will allow
you to experience one of Kenya’s greatest
concentrations of game. Home to the colourful
Maasai people and renowned as being Kenya’s most
famous park, this excursion provides the chance
of seeing the ‘Big Five’ (Lion, Leopard, Elephant,
Buffalo & Rhino) and a range of other game.
