Three consecutive Tests at the Circuito de Braga gave us
a “run what you brung” triple header. This comprised an
autotest, a Kart track blast as well as two laps of the full
circuit. The track was damp to begin with and, as another
quick shower blew in, there were some drivers who, upon
pulling into the time control, reported a problem with grip.
Similarly, there were some navigators who simultaneously
reported a problem with their drivers.
Matthew Hartfield on the other hand reported a problem
with his door, which had flown open on a sharp right hand
bend mid way through lap one.
Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy this day at the
races and, whatever their recorded time was, it gave them
something to discuss over dinner in the suitably palatial
Palacio do Freixo in downtown Porto.
