Although no services are currently happening in St. Mary’s church, the church is now open
for Private prayer Tuesday 10-4 and Saturday 10-4. All social distancing guidance applies.
We also have ways in which the people of Lamberhurst and the local area can keep in touch
with us.
We are holding a weekly short service on Zoom at 10.00am every Sunday. Anyone is very
welcome to join us. Please contact Miranda Hungerford, Parish Administrator, on
miranda@parishoffice.info.

uploading a weekly video here, and other service videos, to view anytime.
We are producing a weekly sheet with thoughts, prayers and resources, which is sent out
on a group email, and uploaded onto the church and village online pages. If you would
like to receive this, contact Miranda Hungerford. We are sending out a small number of
hard copies to people who are not online. Do get in touch if you would like one of these.
As soon as we are able to reopen St. Mary's for normal services, we will let everyone know –
we are awaiting the official guidance from the Church of England which should emerge very
soon. In the meantime, if we can help in any way please let us know and please be in
contact if you would like a chat or prayer or simply to hear or see a friendly face.
Here is a picture of a member of the Flower Guild, Ann Tutt, delivering a beautiful bunch of
flowers on the first day that the church reopened for private prayer, and Georgina Wilson’s
dog Flossy joining in the fun. A big thank you to the team who cleared away the amazing
amounts of cobwebs and spiders that had been busy whilst the church was closed!
