SUNMASTER CLEAR
Sunmaster clear uses tried and tested LLDPE Mealocene technology to give a very high
strength film. Perfect for growers that are used to growing under a clear film and where
maximum light transmission is essential.
Also included in the Sunmaster Clear Film is an Anti Fog agent which breaks down the surface
tension of the condensation droplets so that they run down the sheet, reducing drips and
retaining light clarity.
The UV open characteristic of this film means that plants grow as sturdily under this cover as
they would if they were outside. All plants with red in their leaves, fruit or flowers also benefit
and will have a better colour. However, research has shown that salad leaves in particular are
much better grown under a UV blocking film, such as Sterilite Super Thermic, giving a greater
crop yield.

SUNMASTER DIFFUSED
• SunMaster Diffused or SunMaster Clear are used for crops where colour is important
- especially reds and blues - and over wintered nursery stock where only a slight frost
protection is required.
• SunMaster Diffused comes with anti-fog/anti-drip as standard. This film is designed with
60% diffusion which is optimal for UK growing conditions for most crops.

SMARTGREEN
SmartGreen reduces the far red part of the spectrum more than the near red. This more closely
matches the light spectrum on a forest floor or under a woodland canopy. A forest canopy is not
just darker but the canopy plants have absorbed much of the red spectrum and so plants that
have evolved and adapted to grow in these conditions don’t do as well in full sun conditions. By
mimicking the shade of a forest floor, it also makes it a cooler environment to work in.
Use SunSmart Green for all crops which are naturally shade loving: Ferns, Hostas, Hellebores,
Laurels, Ilex, Camellias, Violets, Rhododendrons etc. and any other plants whose natural habitat is
shade or semi shade.
