WHITE VISQUEEN POLYTHENE COVER
The Visqueen white polythene is renowned for its high shading values and can be
used in a number of applications. With a light transmission of 67-68%, daytime
temperature reductions are significant. This makes this film ideal for shade loving plants,
overwintering, and hardening off of nursery stock.
Other ideal applications are storage cover and livestock housing.

GREEN / WHITE VISQUEEN POLYTHENE COVER
Predominantly used in the mushroom growing industry, the use of this film has
increased in other applications such as sheep and poultry houses, general storage and
fish farming.
The white interior of the polythene and green exterior give full opacity and very high
resistance to UV break down.

MEASURING YOUR TUNNEL
How to calculate a sheet size for a single span tunnel:
• Determine the width (a) of the tunnel and the length (b)
• Use the table below to select the correct width of the sheet
• If the table is inconclusive, measure the over hoop (c) and add on for fixing method:
2m extra for trenching, 1m for timber batten fixing and 0.75m for grip rail
• To determine length of sheet needed ass length (b) to width (a)
