The Voter Handbook - Flipbook - Page 7
4 | Types of voting
You can choose to vote in one of three ways:
1
In person;
2
By post; or
3
By proxy.
See section 6 for more detail on each of these methods.
If you are voting in person you will visit a local polling station on the day of the election and
cast your vote for your preferred candidate.
If you are voting by post you will receive a voting pack and send off the ballot paper ahead
of the election day.
If you are voting by proxy you can assign someone else to either vote in person or by post
on your behalf.
