ABOUT US
Hazchem Safety are suppliers of Technical Workwear,
PPE & ADR Equipment. Originally founded in 1978 by John
Piddington, Hazchem came to the fore after the new
Dangerous Goods Regulations were introduced, supplying
ADR Signage to transporters of dangerous goods and the
term Hazchem has become an industrywide recognised term
for ADR signage. Today, our industry knowledge, insight and
expertise is unsurpassed.
Since then, Hazchem expanded the range to include
technical workwear and PPE and launched our range of
ORKA® Technical Workwear – a range of flame retardant
and HI-VIS workwear designed for the Offshore Oil & Gas
Industries – in 1991, where the original ORKA® Magnus
Coverall quickly became a best seller and an
industry benchmark.
Our second range of premium, inherent, flame resistant and
anti-static workwear, HAZTEC®, was introduced in 2008
following an increased demand in the fuel distribution
industry for comfortable and stylish yet compliant and
well-specified technical workwear.
Hazchem have experienced rapid growth in the last decade,
and now have several offices in the UK, and two large,
strategically located distribution sites and offices in Dyce,
Aberdeen and Brackley, South Northants.
