encouraged by the progress the island has
made on its path to recovery within two
years. The economic activity generated
from increased airlifts and cruise ship
arrivals, the return of Junkanoo, cultural
festivals, and sporting events, in addition
to the projects under construction and
ongoing investor confidence, indicates
that we are moving in the right direction.
The Government of The Bahamas is fully
committed to the recovery and rebuilding
of our beautiful island, and as the Minister
for Grand Bahama, I am optimistic about
the future!
