During Renu’s initial launch, Valerie, Krystle’s mother,
still worked in the finance industry but served as a
silent partner and her daughter’s biggest supporter.
Valerie’s banking experience was also a key
component in shaping the business aspect of the
spa. Despite not initially being involved in the dayto-day, front of house operations, she was always
keen to keep abreast of industry trends, techniques,
and advancements. This eventually led her to also
pursue professional training and certification to
come on board as a massage therapist, once she
left her career in banking.
