BLACK FOREST
SMOOTHIE
260ml calcium fortified
coconut milk
20g cocoa powder
8 pitted dates
100g honey
100g spinach
250g frozen cherries
Serves: 2

Method
This is a great nutritious
drink, snack or pudding that
gives you 2 of your 5 fruit
and vegetables a day, ΒΌ of
your daily calcium needs and
feels like a treat!
Depending on your
tolerance, you can blend and
drink straight away or pass
through a sieve to remove
any 'bits' that aren't as easy
to digest.
1. Take the jug from a blender and add 175ml of the coconut milk.
2. Add the cocoa powder, dates, honey, spinach and
frozen cherries.
3. Start blending the mix and slowly add the remaining milk until you
are happy with the consistency (can adjust to make thicker or thinner
depending on preference).
4. Blend until completely smooth and serve immediately into glasses.
For most people, you can
enjoy this 2-3 times a week
and for those trying to boost
your weight then you can
enjoy this daily.
