1tsp vanilla extract

Method
If you’ve been told to follow
a low-fibre diet, or want
to have a slightly healthier
muffin then this recipe is for
you. Having a low-fibre diet
can be quite restrictive; these
muffins are made partly with
wholemeal flour and oats, to
add some fibre but should
be more gut-tolerable.
These muffins can be great
as snacks or a pudding and
can be enjoyed by almost
everyone with a stoma – if
you want to make it lowerfibre, then just use plain
flour and leave out the oats.
We’ve added banana for
extra potassium as well as
chocolate chips and vanilla
extract for some tastebud
decadence – we hope you
enjoy them as much as
we do.
