Wedding Insurance
What does insurance cover and do I need it?
Wedding insurance can help!
Insurance can protect you against
unforeseen damages and provide
much-needed peace of mind,
Lost or Stolen Items
If any of your items go missing, they
can be covered by the wedding
insurance.
If any of your suppliers do not provide the
services agreed upon at the time of
booking, then your wedding insurance will
assist. It includes the supplier not turning
up to provide services or delivering
damaged goods. The insurance policy will
cover you in both cases for the deposits
you made and any additional cost incurred
while trying to rectify the situation.
Wedding rings are covered if lost or
stolen, but in many cases, the cover is
valid a week before the wedding and
only 24 hours afterwards.
Engagement rings are not covered,
and you will need to add them to
separate home insurance. Also, your
wedding attire is usually covered
when you hire the outfit and until you
have finished wearing them at the
wedding. In several policies, flowers
and wedding cakes are also covered.

Venue
Insurance will cover anything to do with
your venue that would make it impossible
for you to get married there. Such as a fire
breaking inside the venue, a large flood,
venue cancelling your booking for any
reason. Wedding venue insurance will
cover all the costs, saving you from
additional expenses.
Weather
If you are having a winter wedding,
make sure to check the policy in case
of severe storms, If 50% of guests
aren't able to make it to your wedding
day, then you can postpone it and
can likely get it covered.
