lead work. This year Heritage Stone Access have repaired
stone and overseen the installation of new lead overflows
to the main tower of Worcester Cathedral – works that
needed access to both the internal parapet and external
parapet. This allows for the upkeep of drainage systems and
lead weathering that is currently getting much use due to
extreme weather. As on stone buildings the detailing of
lead work tends to penetrate the stone (for example with
flashings, or lead drainage through a stone parapet).
