Stone Access specialists using lime mortars and removing
any loose cement work.
Concurrent to the tower and spire inspection, Heritage
Stone Access carried out all specialised conservation
stonework on the Pavilion Annexe of Coventry Cathedral
for the City of Culture 2021. This project involved the
dismantling, cleaning and rebuilding of various areas of
culturally significant stonework designed by Sir Basil
Spence.
The combination of heritage stonemasonry alongside
nesting peregrines on the medieval part of the Cathedral,
with the preservation of the stonework to marry in with
the innovative new part of the building, are a celebration
of the teamwork and care of all those that took part.
