Headquarters. The doors are fully fire-rated with
hydraulic assisted closers and a secure entry system.
‘The doors are perfect in any situation where security and
protection against fire is an issue,’ said Peter. ‘Glass doors
are the ideal choice in this situation giving visual access
and welcome whilst maintaining optimum security and
protection. The door to the Fusiliers’ HQ was fitted with
direct dial buzzers and an intercom, an additional function
for added security.’
The fully frameless entrance doors installed at St Mary’s
Church, East Molesey were designed to fit perfectly
around the shaped stone at the top corners of each door,
embellished with a bespoke glass manifestation that
simply says ‘St Mary’s East Molesey’. The project also included a small arched door to the vestry and double doors
set into two high arched screens that now separate the
chancel from the nave.
At Hastings Library, a Grade 11 listed property, fully
automatic, frameless fire-doors were installed throughout
the building designed to meet the vigorous criteria of
the Conservation Officer as well as Fire and Safety
requirements. This challenging project was part of an
award-winning multi-million pound refurbishment of this
listed building.
