ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We are committed to making our operations more environmentally friendly
and sustainable. As part of this we support the Green Blue, a joint initiative of
the RYA and British Marine, working to promote environmental best practice
and inspire sustainable recreational boating. We are lucky enough to be
located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - let’s keep it that way.
Chichester Harbour is home to a range of wildlife, including a population of
harbour seals and many birds, some here all year round, some passing
through and many regular winter visitors.
Our logo is an Egret and this lovely bird is a frequent visitor to the marina
and surrounding areas. It is present in large numbers within the harbour
(up to 250 but typically 50-100) in all months except May and June.
We support The Green Blue, a joint RYA British Marine initiative to protect
our environment for future generations.
