Projected Number of Properties Requiring Replacement Windows
A greater financial investment takes place for UPVC windows which have also been allocated a
30 year life. The scheduled replacement increases between 2024 to 2033 but it is the intention
to bring the replacement programme forward or delay some of the peak years to spread the
financial burden over a longer period.
Re-Roofing
Projected Number of Properties Requiring Reroofing
The business plan for re-roofing the housing stock is spread over the life of the plan and
assumes a 100 years life for a roof. The target housing stock within the life of the business plan
are those built up to 1970 though allowance is made for unplanned replacements.
