1.5.5.3 If appointed as information manager, prepare BIM protocols and
agree them with the other members of the design team. Define
the responsibilities of the other members of the design team in
this regard.

Define long-term responsibilities, including ownership of the

Evaluation (Soft Landings).

Establish or review project quality management procedures
together with relevant procedures for all design team members.

Confirm the design team composition and identify a project
lead.
1.5.5.8 Identify the functional relationship between the project lead and
the project manager (if appointed) and establish the authority of
the project lead and lead designer.

Identify the need for a Project Execution Plan and agree its
format with the client and design team.
1.5.5.10 Check the scope of professional services agreed with other
consultants as they are appointed.
1.5.5.11 Confirm the agreed policy for consultants and specialists
concerning accountability, warranties, PI insurance, etc.
1.5.5.12 Appraise the client’s requirements and agree inputs to the stage
by design team members.
