The companion website has been developed to allow architects to download,
free of charge, a comprehensive set of editable template documents to help
them consistently run their projects to a high standard. The templates may be
completed electronically or printed out and completed manually to suit the
preferred method of working. It is envisaged that a set of checklists will be used
at the start of every new project as the project plan for that job. To use these
templates safely and as intended it is important to refer to the introductory and
supplemental guidance and background notes in the book.
Once downloaded, the action checklists may be edited electronically, allowing
them to form the basis of the project plan. For each action in the checklists it is
possible to record the date on which the action was undertaken or completed,
and there is also space below to record notes on the activity, if relevant.
The numbering of the action checklists on the companion website mirrors that
used in the book. The website also contains all the figures reproduced in the book.
