THE T LEVEL
REVOLUTION
T Levels are transforming the DCG curriculum – offering new
technical routes that widen choice for 16 to 19–year–olds and
generate a more skilled and versatile talent pool for employers.
Contributions from local businesses have provided
a solid platform for the success of T Levels since
DCG led the way as one of the 昀椀rst colleges to offer
the quali昀椀cations in 2020.
T Level students spend 80% of the course gaining
technical and vocational skills at College. The
rest of their time is devoted to translating their
knowledge into action on a meaningful industry
placement.
DCG currently delivers eight T Level routes, with
Animal Management and Beauty Therapy being
added for 2024/25.
Summer 2023 saw 81% of DCG’s T Level students
racking up the highest grades, equivalent to three A
or B grades at A-level. In a striking attainment, every
single student on the Education and Early Years T
Level programme gained Merit grades or above.
