REFUGEE WEEK DAZZLES
To highlight the signi昀椀cant contributions to society
made by people who seek sanctuary in the city,
DCG marked Refugee Week 2023 with a stylish
cultural extravaganza.
Over 1,000 people joined the event, enjoying
activities such as bhangra dancing, traditional
drumming, mehndi painting, art exhibitions and
tasting delicious international food.
To coincide with the festivities, Lexis students wrote
compelling stories based on their experiences
of coming to the UK, with illustrations by Art and
Design students.
