17% of women were regular beer drinkers, i.e., those who drink beer once or more each week.
Overall, 63% of women drank beer with over half of them (52%) drinking it at least once a month.
We compared this to the US where 26% of women are weekly beer drinkers (Consumer Edge)
Female students were most likely to drink beer more than once a week (12% compared to the 7%
average).
