The best acoustic
experience
Porous
absorbent
Another essential part of the indoor environment and a huge
part of the DAMPA DNA is optimal acoustics. We cannot see
or touch it, but when we enter a room, we immediately notice
if the acoustics are not customised to the function of the room.
Because we work with perforated metal all our solutions can
be acoustically upgraded to fit the function of any area as we
combine all three types of acoustic absorbents.
Porous: The porous absorbent is the soft acoustic felt and
isolating material in our solutions. The porous absorbent is
effective in most frequency areas, besides the low.
Membrane: The membrane absorbent is created in the hollow
area behind the metal surface.
Here the air works like a spring and works together with the
metal surface to ease the soundwaves.
Resonanceabsorbent
Resonance: This type of absorbent works as the membrane
absorbent best in the low-frequency areas. Here the air in the
perforated areas of the ceiling works as the absorbent.
The air is set in motion by the sound waves and instead of
reflecting the sound, the energy will be used in the holes to
ease the air utilizing the acoustic felt behind.
