"Since a琀琀ending the 'Make Posi}ve Decisions' and 'Safer Streets'
workshops at Scheme, I've watched my 14-year-old son 昀氀ourish. Not
only has he enjoyed the summer scheme, but I've seen a newfound
con昀椀dence in him that reassures me of the bright path ahead."
"Training with a female Coach during the summer was incredible.
For many of us South Asian girls, it was the 昀椀rst }me we'd ever
worked with a real football coach. It felt so special!" Beyond the
invaluable training, the scheme had a broader impact. Several of
the girls, due to their evident talent, were recommended to the
local girls' football team, a testament to the coach's recogni}on of
their promising abili}es. This will hopefully increase diversity in
football and inspire a underrepresented group.
