We make it easy for individuals, community groups, schools,
offices and publishers across the UK to donate pre-loved and
new books for onwards gifting to children with few or no books
of their own.

MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
Our ambition is to normalise and facilitate donation for book
buying families and to become a trusted, go-to destination for
8hand-me-downs9. Not only do our donated books enrich the lives
of thousands of children, their reuse reduces waste, engages
families with recycling and extends each book9s lifecycle.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE 374K BOOKS
GIFTED THIS YEAR WAS EITHER PRE-LOVED
OR NEW, BUT SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS.
Families have been able to donate their pre-loved books during
the course of this year at 60 ASDA stores, 5 major football
clubs, 120 independent schools, 45 independent bookshops,
12 building sites, 30 school uniform shops and an estate
agent!
Alongside this we hugely value the support we receive from the
publishing industry, which recognises that by donating books to
us, they are helping to develop readers of the future.
