CLMC Annual Report 2023 - Flipbook - Page 3
FORWARD
BY LMC CHAIR
Our ambition for several years has been to build
practice resilience across Cheshire and help
practices obtain solutions to difficult problems,
including, for example, how to get extra funding
into GP contracted work and to avoid unfunded
workload transfer.
During the last 12 months we have been focusing
on developing further our productive relationships
with our commissioners and other structures
emerging from the draft NHS legislation.
(current and past, medical and non-medical) who
have supported me in innumerable ways and made
the work so rewarding and productive.
I wish everyone connected with Cheshire LMC all
the very best for the future.
Stephen Kaye Chair 2021
As always we have had to support our practices
through yet more transition.
I am confident that we have served our wider
membership well in each of these areas.
I will be retiring from general practice and as Chair
of Cheshire LMC on 31 March 2022. I feel I leave the
LMC as an organisation which has developed
enormously since I first jointed the committee 15
years ago. I wish my successor
Dr David Ward every success.
I would like to thank all my colleagues at LMC
