nature in the book resonates
with growing up in the
East Anglian countryside.
Memories flood in when I
read this book, yet this was
the 1980’s and 90’s, and
not rural, ancient times.
But we explored, played
in fields, picked fruit and
every year met up with the
surrounding villages in a fair
dedicated to and dependent
on the plough. Read it for
inspiration.
