We are all workingtowards ambitious targets.Sustainability shouldn’t only be seen in thecontext of the planet and the creatures humanityshares it with, however. It’s widely accepted thatsustainability should also be seen in relation tothe health of people. “Health and sustainabilityare mutually enabling and constraining,” statethe authors of one in昀氀uential study.2 Healthypeople need a healthy planet, and vice versa. Theforementioned study recommends the integrationof health and sustainability initiatives.That’s what we’ve done. At Britvic we use thephrase Healthier People, Healthier Planet toencapsulate our approach to sustainability.We’re proud to be working with our peers acrossthe industry to aim to reduce our impact on theenvironment and help improve people’s health.But what does that mean in practice?
