A new 14-week accelerator programme
to help startups, academics and nontraditional space businesses advance
their understanding of the commercial
space landscape and build new
connections within the wider space
industry
•
A hands-on STEM programme for
Year 8 and 9 children at a pilot school
in Herford. The school has since seen
attendance levels improve by 57%, and
all cohort members have elected to
take Triple Science as a GCSE option.
•
A new £3.9 million space and
connectivity facility at its site in
Stevenage funded by the UK Space
Agency (UKSA). Airbus will create a

range of facilities available to new and
existing space players to encourage
growth in the wider space ecosystem.

A mid career scheme where,
together with the University of
Portsmouth, they are co-developing
and delivering a space digital skills
training programme under the UKSA
