Urban artworks help to raise
the profile of the town
T
hree new pieces of urban artwork
were unveiled in Stevenage
last year, close to the Lamex
Stadium. These are themed to represent
the town’s achievements in STEM, the
town’s green spaces and active travel
routes, and Stevenage Football Club. The
designs reflect the areas to and from the
underpasses and the artworks reflects input
and conversations from representatives
across the football club, travel groups,
cultural organisations and STEM
employers.
