On successful completion of
the 3-modules, skills tests and
assessments the learners are
awarded the IMI accreditation and
are recognised as professional
Roadside & Recovery Technicians
with IMI membership (plus benefits),
listing on the Professional Register
and a 3-yr digital PATAM Identity
and Skills Card.
LEVEL 3 IN EDUCATION &
TRAINING AND CONSORTIUM
COURSE
Our combined 5-day Instructor
course that awards the QualSAFE
Level 3 in Education & Training
(RQF) as well as training to join
the NTP Consortium. Available to
companies wanting to regain control
of their PAS43 and DCPC training
and to individual training providers
looking to increase their training
portfolio.
The assessment strategy is
stringent including: Theory (4 x
written assignments, 1 x set of
written questions, 1 x scenario)
and
Practical
(Micro-teach)
assessments. Our training team
has been mentoring and guiding
over 15 trainers through the process
so far and we are looking forward to
developing more over the coming
months.
As approved Training Centres for the
IMI, JAUPT and Pro-Trainings we
can offer our Consortium Members
access to a huge range of courses
which they can deliver within their
own businesses without the cost
of becoming Training Centres
themselves. Once Level 3 qualified
Members can select additional
DCPC modules, Mental Health &
First Aid courses and accredited
IMI courses and qualifications
including the Roadside & Recovery
Technician’s Course and/or Level
2/3 Electric & Hybrid Vehicle
courses depending upon their skills,
knowledge and qualifications.
NTP provides full administrative
support, access to course material,
trainer notes and updates through
the Learning Management System
portal, forum and networking
events and membership to TARS
(the international and independent
Trainer’s Association for Roadside
Safety).
The QualSAFE Level 3 Award is a
regulated and nationally recognised
teaching qualification which has
been specifically designed for those
who work or would like to work in
the further education and skills
sector for Further Education (FE)
Colleges, Independent Training
Providers and/or Local Authorities.
To ensure relevance the course
is combined with the essential
learning and course material
for our RoadsideAWARE and
PublicAWARE modules, with the
full 5 days dedicated to instructors
building an understanding of the
specific roles and responsibilities
of planning and delivering inclusive
training sessions for the industry, for
theory and practical subjects.
