STEPPING UP TO THE CHALLENGE.
The cancellation of two RMS
voyages left a number of
passengers stranded. The ship
that travels between Cape Town
and St Helena needed urgent
repair work and time was of the
essence as the cancellation
of the ship meant there were
no travel options between the
two destinations. St Helena is
a notoriously diïcult place to
land aircraft, due to wind shear
issues and the length of runway
available. We worked around
the clock to source a suitable
aircraft - including obtaining
the correct permits and
ensuring the airport supplied
the correct ground equipment.
We successfully operated the
return night and became the
orst company to operate a full
commercial aircraft charter in
St Helena.
SHUTTLE FOR SUCCESS.
We organised nights for a
special incentive trip for a
leading corporate, nying 1,000
passengers. The client wished
to keep the destination a
secret to generate excitement
and we assisted with our
bespoke branding services.
We removed the destination
information from the check-in
screens, simply showing the
client9s logo and event name.
We organised a private area
within the terminal building for
the group, where they could
enjoy canapés. On board, the
crew delivered a personalised
welcome announcement. We
also provided branded headrest
covers which hinted at the
destination and the passengers
enjoyed bespoke catering and
an open bar.
