E?
DO YOU REALLY TRUST M
Did Abraham really trust God? God had Abraham build
an altar (probably out of stones) to sacrifice his son on.
Would he do it? Would God step in at the last minute?
Check out GENESIS 22:1-19 to see what happened.
Are there times it’s hard for you to
trust God? Think of a time.

19 Then they returned to the servants and traveled back to Beersheba, where Abraham continued to live.
20Soon after this, Abraham heard that Milcah,
his brother Nahor’s wife, had borne Nahor eight

Arameans), 22Kesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and
Bethuel. 23 (Bethuel became the father of Rebekah.) In addition to these eight sons from Milcah,
24Nahor had four other children from his concubine Reumah. Their names were Tebah, Gaham,
Tahash, and Maacah.

down at the end of his field. I will pay the full
price in the presence of witnesses, so I will have
a permanent burial place for my family.”
10Ephron was sitting there among the others,
and he answered Abraham as the others listened, speaking publicly before all the Hittite elders of the town. 11“No, my lord,” he said to

12Abraham again bowed low before the citizens of the land, 13and he replied to Ephron as
