In Londonit’s 10.4 months1.There’s no route to regional equalityin the UK that doesn’t involve tacklingthis attainment gap. We know that oneof the big drivers of that equality isaccess to tuition.Based on our gold standard evidence2 ,if we could provide tuition sessionsas a core part of the education systemto every pupil from a lower incomebackground, we could eliminate theattainment gap.1 EPI, 2024 https://epi.org.uk/annual-report-2024-regional-gaps-2/2 Tutor Trust, 2017 https://www.thetutortrust.org/impact/our-rct-evidenceTutor Trust Impact Report 2023/245
