Principal
Vision
Thomas Telford UTC has been established to
provide the young people of Wolverhampton and the
surrounding region a unique combination of excellent
academic achievement and first-class preparation for
their future.
Mission Statement
We are proud to announce the inception of a new
school from the Thomas Telford Multi Academy
Trust which opened it’s doors to Year 7 students in
September 2020. This saw the collaboration of the
Outstanding Thomas Telford School with the West
Midlands UTC, judged by Ofsted to be Good with
Outstanding features. We believe that the strengths
of the two schools will unite to offer our students a
truly ground-breaking opportunity.

very best from their time here so that they are fully

The innovative and distinct curriculum that we offer

The School Day
I am delighted to write to you about the most
exciting development in secondary education in
Wolverhampton for many years. I am honoured to
be entrusted with leading Thomas Telford UTC on
a journey that I am confident will see this flagship
establishment become the gold standard for
secondary education in Wolverhampton. I want every
child that comes to Thomas Telford UTC to be part of
the fabric of the school, and to go home every day
fulfilled and happy that they have made progress in
their learning and development.
