Electrical Craftsman
What has been your career journey to date/ your previous roles?
My career working on the Government and Pipeline Storage System commenced eight years
ago. I started as a Maintenance Apprentice in the North area. During my apprenticeship, I
worked in small teams with an Electrical Supervisor working across the network in the UK. As
part of my role, I had to complete electrical installation jobs to gain experience and to help
the modernisation of the network
What roles/departments do you work with in the business?
Upon completion of my apprenticeship, I was offered the role of Maintenance Electrical
Craftsman with CLH-PS. My current role covers up to 11 sites from Immingham to Chester. My
role involves fault finding on many different pieces of equipment including instrumentation
and some mechanical.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently involved in a major project to modernise the ageing network. This project is
extremely interesting and I am learning a huge amount.
